This museum is home to the Bartolomé March Foundation's collection of art and books. It is situated in the heart of Palma de Mallorca's historic old town. The museum is located in the magnificent City Palace Palau March, and has a collection of contemporary sculptures on display.
The exhibits include a contemporary, impressive collection of sculptures by artists such as Chillida, Moore and Rodin, which are distributed to the courtyards and gardens. Also on display are painted wooden sculptures with religious themes. Also noteworthy is the Christmas crib exhibition. One of the brilliant pieces of the art collection is a Neapolitan nativity scene from the 18th century, which includes about 1000 figures.
The museum is an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city of Palma. Terrific is also the view from the rooftop terrace of the harbor. Thus, already to linger around in the beautiful historic building is a delight. Finally, you can take a coffee in a beautiful atmosphere at the ground floor.
