Alcanada

Situated opposite the island Illa de Alcanada who finds itself with its lighthouse on many postcards of Mallorca, you will find the small, romantic stone beach Playa de Alcanada.
The beach is lined with shady pine trees and covered with gravel. The water is clear and turquoise. Even with strong winds there is little swell. Because the water is only 1.5 m deep, you can swim or walk over to the island. There you will be rewarded with a fine sandy beach!
At Playa de Alcanada there is no baywatch and no toilets or showers are available. Neither, there is a sun loungers- or parasols-service nor there are watersports-offers and bars. You should bring your own water and food
The beach is located about three kilometers outside of Port Alcudia and about 500 meters away from the center of Alcanada. Follow the signs to Alcanada later to Golf de Alcanada. Playa de Alcanada starts right at the driveway to the golf club. Opposite the beach there is a large, free car park.

Playa de Alcanada, a sheltered, shady natural beach with lots of charm!

Tip: The Sea-side of the lighthouse island is a "must" for snorkeling friends!
